Before we shift gears, lets give some definition to the word paradigm. That I sense were in the process of becoming a new species, homo sapien sapien sapien, is a a macro view of a paradigm shift, but more specifically a paradigm is is our window into the world. A paradigm is our way of looking at and thinking about ourselves and the world as a whole

A paradigm is a frame of mind out of which we operate!

Every religion is a paradigm, a group of peoples view of God. Chrsitainty, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism are all different views of God and how we as humans fit into the world. Religion generally is a basic and foundational way of thinking, seeing, and valuing that which has created everything. This Creater is called God, Allah, Yahweh, and dozens of names, but its still just ONE!

Teilhard de Chardin said , The whole of life lies in the verb SEEING.

So whats your point of view? How are you seeing. The glasses that I am looking through says a major paradigm shift is on the way, and in fact, were experiencing some of the initial tremors even now. Were slowly moving from an individual consciousness and into a collective one.

Carl Jung described this transition this way, In the history of the collective as in the history of the individual, everything depends on the development of consciousness. Man has experienced three major collective paradigm shifts and were on the cusp of the fourth. Weve gone from collective hunters 40,000 years ago, to collective farmers 10,000 years ago, to collective builders 300 years ago.

What do we call this new paradigm shift as we head to the infamous December 21, 2012? It isnt so much as the Mayan calendar date as it is the season that were moving into- the paradigm shift that is underway.

Communications, the internet, and the digital world within which we find ourselves has much to do with what it all about and thats not a denial of the spiritual earthquake that is at our doorstep.
