• i've noticed a lot of my tracks don't play in their entirety with xbmc. the tracks are complete and play fine on my pc.

    xbmc ver 1.1.0 (may 30, 2005 build)


  • is anyone else having this problem? i'm playing the music files over my home network. just about every other song cuts out early when playing.

  • check if you have a in_mp3.dll under system/players/paplayer

    also, what files are these that end early ? do they work anywhere else ?
    there is an in_mp3.dll in that directory. these are just various music tracks, and it's not always the same tracks. i don't have problems with them on my pc, or my ipod.

  • well, i upgraded to cvs version 8-7-2005. and xbmc is still ending tracks early. i tried disabling crossfade and id3 tags, in case those were the problem, but it still does it.
