Help, This is has been bugging me for some time...

when ever i play a file with audio, the sound will cut out every so often... sometimes as short as 5 seconds between cut outs to as long as a minute interval between... the cut out is is only for like a split second.

this is true for music streamed over internet, streamed over network drive, streamed form local hard disk and same goes for audio for movies played in similar fashion.

all my cace settings are above 2MB, so i thought this should suffice... i saw some talk to reduce cache, should i do this?
