Article Marketing â “ a â śnoobâ ™sâ ť Opinion
November 19th, 2008 |There are a lot of people who would like you to believe that with the first article that they write they know everything there is to know about a subject. I am here to tell you that I do not know and never will know everything about article marketing. I learn something new everyday, often a great many somethings.
Having been a habitual writer most of my life, poetry, short stories, and songs in the long-hair years of the 80â ™s, article writing comes fairly easy to me. It is just something that I have found that I love to do. What has not come easy is the business of Article Marketing. I have read everything I possibly could on the subject. Gary Baker (a personal friend) and Sean Mize have been my inspirations and I have spent many a day avidly digesting the information that they have published. Even so, It has taken me quite awhile to get to the point that I feel that I can give an article marketing â śnoobâ ™sâ ť opinion on the business as a whole.
I think that the thing that impresses me the most about Article Marketing is the quality of the visitors that come to my website. Personally, this in my opinion is the best part of the business. I cannot think of any other way to get leads that are as highly targeted and highly qualified as those generated through Article Marketing. When a lead visits my website they are already interested in what it is I am offering. If they were not then they would not be there. On many occasions this quality has lead to the purchase of one of my products on the first visit. By and large first time visitors do not buy anything. They usually grab my complimentary item and move on, but more first time purchases have been generated by leads that have arrived at my website from an article than by any other source.
Article Marketing has let me build a responsive list with a high conformation and open rate. When a lead clicks through to my website I have found that a great deal of the time they are more than willing to exchange their name and e-mail address for my complimentary products. Once they start receiving e-mail from my marketing campaign they tend to purchase more readily than those who come to my list from other sources. I think that this is once again directly tied to the quality of the lead generation of Article Marketing as well.
In conclusion, I have found that Article Marketing is by far the best way to drive highly targeted and highly qualified leads to my website and my list. We all know that the real income potential is in the list, and isnâ ™t that really the reason we are Article Marketing in the first place?
